The International Industry STEP Centers (ISC) are organizations that represent industry working on STEP development, implementation and promotion around the world. The objectives of the ISC are to:
  • Allow STEP development to be more controlled by industry on a global basis
  • Give STEP vendors a common message relative to implementation needs
  • Improve the standardization process
  • Approve industry standards
  • Introduce industry standards into ISO TC184 SC4 using fast track procedures
  • Facilitate international pilot projects
  • Increase information sharing and public relations/marketing/ promotion of STEP

  • Support STEP quality assurance activities
